MASS-STREAM® D-6300 with Integrated Display
The new digital MASS-STREAM® series D-6300 works on the basis of direct through-flow measurement, following the constant temperature anemometer principle, and will replace the current analogue series D-6200 on a mid term view.
The MASS-STREAM® series D-6300 is characterised by significant improvements, covers flow ranges from 0.01…0.2 ln/min up to 100…5000 ln/min (Air), and follows M+W’s strategy of widely standardised product ranges. The instruments have IP65 protection as a standard and are operated with a main-board with all functions for accurate flow measurement and control. They can be supplied with commonly used digital or analogue input/output signals. Along with the standard RS232, Profibus-DP, DeviceNet, Flow-Bus and ModBus-RTU are available as an option.
One key element and innovative improvement is the optionally integrated, modern, multi-functional and multi-colour display, fully IP65 compliant with operator buttons on the instrument. With its multiple functions, such as actual flow indication, totalisation and alarms, the new MASS-STREAM® series D-6300 offers an excellent price-performance ratio. The instruments are suitable for application in laboratories, production machinery as well as industrial installations.

The new MASS-VIEW® flow meter series are a digital alternative to the conventional VA meters (variable area meters) or rotameters. The MASS-VIEW® flow meter series incorporates a digital bar graph of actual gas flow, which is, thanks to the OLED (organic light emitting diode) technology, clearly visible from all angles, as well as indicating flow units, gas type and totalised figures. Also available with an optional in-built needle valve for flow control duties, it is designed to mimic the straightforward features and vertical format of the VA meter, but with the considerable added benefits of an electronic output signal, high measuring accuracy, virtual independence from gas temperature and pressure variations, freedom from parallax error and inherently safe construction, by eliminating fragile glass components in the flow path.

It offers a standard accuracy rating of ± 2%RD if the flow is higher than 50% of it’s maximum full scale and ±(1%RD + 0.5%FS) on lower flows, handling pressures up to 10 barg (150 psi). Power consumption is low and mechanical process connections are fitted for straightforward VA meter replacement. The MASS-VIEW® incorporates the latest OLED technology, which gives a brighter readout than LCDs, can be viewed from virtually any angle and has fast signal response times. Alarm settings and the selection of a pre-installed gas or pre-set range are accessed via a user-friendly menu, using a 4-way navigation button mounted on the front plate. An analog output signal enables data logging against various parameters and full accountability of gas flow, such as for shared ring main applications.

The LIQUI-FLOW® series L10I/L20I digital Liquid Flow Meters / Controllers for low flow ranges are equipped with a rugged 'industrial style' (IP65) pc-board housing for use in industrial environments or even Zone 2 hazardous areas, due to their ATEX category 3 approval. The instruments operate on a thermal, thru-flow measuring principle. The flow meter can be connected to a control valve to form a closed control loop. The standard direct acting valve (model C2I) is normally closed, has a pressure capability of 100 bar (1500 psi) and a purge connection for easy elimination of air or gas.

The IN-PRESS series digital electronic pressure transducers and controllers for gases and liquids are equipped with a rugged, 'industrial style' (IP65) pc-board housing for use in industrial environments or even Zone 2 hazardous areas, due to their ATEX category 3 approval. The instruments have a well-proven compact thru-flow design and include a diaphragm type piezo-resistive pressure sensor for pressure measurement/control from:
lowest ranges 2 ... 100 mbar absolute or gauge
up to highest ranges 8 ... 400 bar absolute or gauge
The pc-board of an IN-PRESS pressure meter features integrated, adaptable PID control for fast and smooth control of any electronically driven valve. The standard direct acting valve (F-001AI/F-011AI) is normally closed, has a pressure capability up to 100 bar and is available for Kv-values up to 6.6 x 10-6. Normally opened valves can also be supplied. There is also a pilot operated valve for high flow rates (Kv-max 6.0 !!!), the so-called Vary-P valve that can cope with 400 bar delta-P and a bellows valve for applications with very low differential pressure. All these control valves are available with IP65 protected coils.
