PR Electronics 9000 series of modules for I.S. and SIL 2 applications.

PR electronics introduces an innovative series of modules for I.S. and SIL 2 applications. The new 9000 series makes it easier and more cost effective to achieve a high level of safety in hazardous processes.

The Series 9000 POWER RAIL System:

Provides easy mounting of the modules
Power and fault wiring are built-in
Allows fault monitoring of the modules

One click is all it takes to mount the I.S. interfaces to our custom DIN rail with integrated power and fault connections. Of course, the 9000 series modules can also be mounted on a regular DIN rail and connected separately to a 24 VDC supply. The 9000 series includes a universal power supply with 24 VDC output and a power control unit, (model 9410), which distributes power to the I.S. interfaces via the power rail. The 9410 also offers the possibility of redundant supply.

Automatic Detection of Active / Passive Output
The 9106, 9113 and 9116 modules automatically adjust their analog output to either passive or active to match the requirements of the equipment connected to the output.

Tough and Intelligent Signal Conditioning
The I.S. interfaces provide 2.3 kVAC galvanic isolation and superior protection against electric disturbances. All modules comply with the European EMC directive as well as with NAMUR NE21 (Burst), NAMUR NE43 (sensor error) and the Low Voltage Directive (LVD). In addition to this, they also carry marine (DNV) and UL 61010-1 approvals.
